01 — For independent cafés

Every table orders.
You see all of it.

Guests scan the code on their table and order in a minute — no app, no account. Your kitchen works from one screen. You watch the whole service from your phone. And the money still goes through your own till.

02 — The guest’s side

From the table to served, without waving anyone down.

  2. BrowseYour menu and prices. Sold-out items already greyed.
  3. CustomiseWritten once, by the person who wants it.

  6. ServedThe guest watches it move without asking anyone.

03 — The owner’s side

Know how service is going without standing in it.

Tables in use, orders waiting, what the kitchen is making, whether its screen is actually on, and how long each step is taking. Counted from real orders — never a score, and never dressed up as revenue.

  • Live service: waiting, preparing, ready, served
  • Service timings: how long acceptance and preparation take
  • History: daily volume and your busiest hours

04 — Your café, your identity

Pixercise adapts to the café, not the other way round.

Guests order from you, under your name and your menu. We’re building four experience styles so a menu can carry a café’s character too.

  • PixelPlayful, arcade-brightFor cafés with a sense of humour.
  • EditorialQuiet, specialty-firstFor the menu that reads like a journal.
  • BotanicalWarm, artisan, greenFor bakeries and garden rooms.
  • ModernMinimal and exactFor the clean, fast counter.

In preview — live QR menus use the standard Pixercise style today.

05 — Without replacing your POS

We handle the ordering. Your till keeps the money.

Pixercise is the layer between a table and your kitchen. It never processes a payment, never holds your money and never sits between you and your card machine. Closing a table means “they’ve finished” — your till remains the only record of what was paid.

06 — From anywhere

At the café, at home, or across town.

Step out for an afternoon and still know whether the room is busy, an order is stuck or the kitchen screen has gone quiet. Change the menu, mark something sold out, add a table — from whatever is in your hand.

07 — Operations

The unglamorous parts, done properly.

Order lifecycle

New, accepted, preparing, ready, served. Nothing reaches the kitchen until a person accepts it.

Kitchen display

Big type, one tap per stage, and it tells you when it has lost contact instead of looking fine.

Tables & QR

Every table gets its own code. Print them on paper or stickers; replace one without touching the rest.

Staff & roles

Owners, managers, floor and kitchen each get exactly what their job needs. The server enforces it.

Device health

See which kitchen screens are reporting and when each was last seen.

A record that can’t be edited

Price changes, cancellations and staff changes record who did them — permanently, including against us.

How it’s built

The boring guarantees, stated plainly.

  • We never collect your guests’ details. No name, phone, email or location — the ordering flow has no fields for them.
  • Your café’s data is separated in the database, by constraints and row-level security, not by code remembering to filter.
  • Prices are decided by the server, never the phone. A modified request cannot change what anything costs.
  • Backed up daily. We have rehearsed restoring the database from those backups, because a backup nobody has restored is a guess.

Properties of how the system is built — not certifications. We hold none and claim none.

Straight answers

Questions café owners actually ask.

Do I have to replace my POS or till?

No, and that is the point. Pixercise handles ordering — getting what a guest wants from their table to your kitchen. Payment stays at your existing till, on your existing card machine, with your existing end-of-day.

Does Pixercise take payments or hold my money?

No. Pixercise does not process payments, hold funds or take a cut. Closing a table means “these people have finished”, not “this has been paid”.

What do guests have to install?

Nothing. They point their camera at the table’s code and the menu opens in their browser. No app, no account, no personal details.

What stops someone ordering forty coffees as a prank?

Every order waits as new until a member of your staff accepts it, and per-table limits stop a single scan flooding your queue.

Can I manage my café when I’m not there?

Yes. From a phone you can see open tables, live orders, service timings and whether the kitchen screen is online — and change your menu, hours and staff.

What if the internet goes down?

Pixercise needs a connection. Without one, guests can’t order and the kitchen screen says it has lost contact rather than pretending. Your till is unaffected.

Is there hardware to buy?

No. Printed QR codes, and any device you already own for the kitchen screen — a spare tablet, a laptop, an old phone.

How do I get started?

Request an account from Open your café, or send us an enquiry below. Once approved you get an email to set up your account; then add your menu and tables, print the codes, connect a kitchen screen and switch ordering on.
